How quickly decompose biodegradable plastics?
I think I'm misunderstanding of how the new biodegradable plastics work, and want someone to clear it for me. I always keep my plastic bags for use as food bags, garbage bags, and even shower caps. If each shop turned green and has invested in these fantasy plastic biodegradable plastics "rot" in my kitchen cabinet and attract small insects niches that are decaying.
Normally, do not decompose as quickly. My companions eat in places that gives composting plastic spoons. They seem harder than the flimsy plastic spoons and we've put through the dishwasher at least twenty times. I do not notice any degrading and having plastic usually much better than the cheaper thinner. I think it will rip the bags before they begin to attract insects through decomposition. Besides, I think are bacteria that break down matter, not fruit flies. Normal plastic will break little if exposed to sunlight, so I think that become useless (Get holes or start snapping) at the same rate anyway.
